Michael Jackson's House - Two Year Memorial

Been a two years since Michael passed. Here at Michael Jackson's House in Gary, Indiana, his life is being celebrated. I got there a little early, a small crowd of early birds were present, mingling and dancing to Michael's music. The official start was not until 4:00 pm, will try to go back for more pics.

I made it back to Michael's House for the last hour or so of the celebration. Couldn't help but think that this could only happen in Gary and 'no where else'. All kinds of folks just dancing in the streets, havin' a good time listening to Michael Jackson Music. It all concluded with members of the Jackson family on stage promising to return for Michael's birthday and a candle light moment of silence. Believe it or not, the sky began to cry in the end, hehe. Not rain, just a few drops falling like tears. Enough to make you wonder.

Happy Birthday Michael!

Today (August 29, 2010) is MJ 52nd Birthday...Yesterday, August 28, 2010, Joesph "Joe" Jackson, Gary's Mayor Clay and Kellie Patterson held a Birthday Party for Michael at his childhood home in Gary Indiana.

The 8 foot tall, black marble 'Moonwalking Michael' monolith, stands in the front yard greeting fans from around the world. Happy Birthday Michael Jackson!

I got there just at the start of the Cake Cutting Ceremony . Led by Michael's father, Joe Jackson.

Several cakes were cut by Joe and the cakes were enjoyed by the MJ Fans after the cutting.
